As our Head of People and Culture you will play the key role in developing and delivering our People Strategy, and the systems that underpin it. You will ensure that a consistent and attentive approach to performance management successfully aligns our people practices to our strategic priorities. You’ll be central to organisational change, people development and employee engagement – all of which will be essential strands of our commitment to continuous improvement. And reporting director to the Chief Executive, you’ll be asked to advise and support on the full range of people and culture issues in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation, including talent management, succession planning, employee relations, employment law and management information.
It’s likely that you are a qualified HR professional (CIPD Level 5 or above). You’ll be a highly capable and experienced people manager, who can get the best from others and support their professional development. It’s essential that you have a well-informed and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, GDPR and HR best practice, and that you can draw on HR systems and data to inform organisational decision-making. And you’ll be able to demonstrate a track record in supporting cultural and organisational change that has supported improvements in outcomes for customers.
