Assistant Director of Commercial Operations - Property Services

emh are looking for an experienced Assistant Director to lead the delivery of their Internal Maintenance Service (IMS). You will drive the future growth and development of emh’s internal maintenance services, delivering a commercially-minded customer-focused service that provides value for money, and is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.

You should be an experienced people leader and able to motivate and lead with a trust and output-based performance culture. You should aim to create an inclusive and positive employee experience in all areas of the IMS, with a supportive and high-performing culture. You will directly line manage a team of departmental heads who oversee the workstreams delivered by the IMS: Grounds Maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical, Planned Works, and Responsive Repairs. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which you will demonstrate working closely with your team and their reports, and in conjunction with other internal and external stakeholders, including our Trade Union representatives, suppliers and contractors.
